Your expertise will lead the wellness and safety initiatives for multiple teams, addressing both injury prevention and immediate care. As part of this robust sports environment, you'll travel with teams when they qualify for state competitions—adding excitement and variety to your workweek. The position is fully onsite, ensuring you’re at the heart of the action and part of every pivotal sporting moment.
Qualifications:
- Board certification as an Athletic Trainer required
- Master’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field
- Experience providing medical support for student athletes
- Ability to work through the Department of Health processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Willingness to complete both traditional credentialing and the BIE adjudication process
- Availability to travel with teams for championship events
Responsibilities:
- Deliver daily onsite care and injury prevention services to student athletes
- Respond quickly to sports-related injuries and administer appropriate treatments
- Collaborate actively with coaches, parents, and other staff across various sports
- Ensure compliance with school, health, and legal guidelines
- Travel with athletic teams to competitions as needed
