A contract opportunity is available for four ABA paraprofessionals to support students with severe autism and behavioral challenges in Levittown, PA. These roles focus on providing direct assistance in K-12 classrooms under the Bucks County Intermediate Unit 22, delivering crucial support for students requiring intensive behavioral interventions.
Location: Levittown, PA
Schedule: MondayFriday, 7:30 AM 3:30 PM (37.5 hours/week)
Assignment Duration: ASAP through approximately June 12, 2026, aligned with the school calendar
- Implement ABA-based support strategies for students exhibiting severe autism spectrum disorders and related behavioral challenges.
- Work under the supervision of certified teachers to provide individualized support in various classroom settings.
- Respond effectively to physical aggression, elopement risks, and other intensive behaviors requiring safety protocols.
- Participate in a mandatory orientation week prior to assignment start.
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure continuity and quality of care for students.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an ABA paraprofessional in K-12 classroom settings.
- Must meet Pennsylvania paraprofessional certification requirements or commit to obtaining certification within 60 days of start.
- Residency within 35 minutes of Levittown, PA.
- Reliable transportation and ability to maintain consistent, on-time attendance.
- Must provide two professional references from previous paraprofessional supervisors.
- Ability to work full-time hours, including attendance to orientation week.
- Experience supporting students with severe behavioral challenges required.
