ESL Teacher in Coal Center, PA

Bachelor’s degree in Education, valid state Teaching license or certification, and 1 years Teaching experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver ESL instruction to students across various grade levels according to district curriculum guidelines.
• Assess student language proficiency and develop targeted lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to enhance student learning experiences.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate updates with parents and school personnel.
• Manage a caseload across several districts, including Bethlehem-Center, Brownsville Area, and California Area School Districts.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania Program Specialist ESL Certificate is required.
• Proven experience teaching ESL in a classroom setting.
• Ability to effectively manage travel between multiple school locations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Job Details:

• Contract position from ASAP to 6/5/26 (dates subject to change).
• 35 hours per week, with a 7.5-hour workday including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
• Onsite position based in Coal Center, PA.
