Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver ESL instruction tailored to the needs of diverse learners in several school districts, including the Bethlehem-Center, Brownsville Area, and California Area School Districts.
- Adapt teaching methods to support English language acquisition for students at varying proficiency levels.
- Collaborate with general education teachers and school staff to integrate ESL strategies in the classroom.
- Manage classroom activities and maintain a supportive learning environment.
- Travel between designated schools as needed to fulfill teaching responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Active Pennsylvania Program Specialist ESL Certificate required.
- Proven experience in ESL instruction within K-12 settings preferred.
- Ability to travel comfortably between schools within the assigned districts.
- Strong communication skills and flexibility to adapt to different school environments.
Work Schedule and Location:
- 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- 7.5-hour workday, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
- Onsite position located in Coal Center, PA, with travel to surrounding districts as outlined.
