Your expertise will be utilized across three unique school sites within the district, engaging with students and staff at each location. As a key resource, you'll build strong relationships and create sustainable behavior support systems district-wide.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential
- Experience providing direct services in school settings (general ed and special ed preferred)
- Ability to conduct thorough Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and produce clear, actionable behavior plans
- Strong data collection, analysis, and reporting skills
- Comfortable collaborating with teachers, school psychologists, and IEP teams
- Flexibility and initiative as the first BCBA in the district
- Sample redacted FBA and professional references to be submitted with application
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct behavior analytic services to students across multiple sites
- Observe classrooms—including emotional support environments—and conduct comprehensive FBAs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Serve as an engaged participant in IEP meetings, sharing insights and evidence-based recommendations
- Provide consultation, training, and on-the-spot support to teachers and school staff
