As a Senior Financial Analyst, a typical day might include the following:
- Analyzing financial and operational data to support the business by communicating key insights, risks, and findings to ownership and executive team
- Preparing weekly P&L reviews, rolling cash flows, labor analyses and sales reports for senior leadership
- Reviewing inventory system reports for price variances and proper purchasing
- Creating financial, capital, and cash flow budgets and forecasts to align with long-term strategic plans
- Identifying and implementing metrics to track financial performance and be able to identify areas for business improvement based on variance analysis, KPIs, etc.
- Participating in month end close and subsequent reporting to provide further insight on variances in such items as revenues, cost of goods sold, operational expense, and capital
- Partnering with key stakeholders and business leaders across the organization to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations
- Managing and driving efficiency in financial reporting & financial processes, including financial systems, controls, and cost savings initiatives
- Develop robust financial models to support strategic initiatives
- Continuously improve efficiency and accuracy of financial planning and reporting tools and models
- Completing ad hoc requests for the Director of Accounting, CFO and executives
- Other duties as assigned
This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- Minimum of 3-5 years in FP&A, corporate finance or related fields
- Strong analytical and financial modeling expertise with the ability to simplify complex analyses into actionable insights
- Prior experience leading or managing the annual budget process required
- Collaborative team player with strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset
- Prior food and beverage industry accounting experience highly preferred
- Inventory management software knowledge highly preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, time management and communication skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to have full ownership of projects and work independently
- Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, including strong proficiency in financial modeling
- Experience in Adaptive and Workday strongly preferred

- This position is located in beautiful new office at The Hub on Causeway with scenic views of the Zakim bridge. This full-time role is office-based and is NOT a remote opportunity
- Job functions require hours of sitting, typing, and use of a computer
- May be required to lift or move up to 30 lbs using proper lifting techniques and work in a fast-paced, high energy environment
- Non-typical office hours may be requested
