As a Financial Analyst, a typical day might include the following:
- Owning daily, weekly, and monthly ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to ownership and executive team
- Analyzing inventory system reports for price variances and proper purchasing
- Creating financial, capital, and cash flow budgets to align with long-term strategic plans
- Analyzing financial and operational data to support the business by communicating key insights, risks, and findings to management
- Identifying and implementing metrics to track financial performance and be able to identify areas for business improvement based on variance analysis, KPIs, etc.
- Participating in month end close and subsequent reporting to provide further insight on such items as accounts payable, revenue, food & labor cost, and capital
- Partnering with key stakeholders and business leaders across the organization to provide strategic financial insights and recommendations
- Managing and driving efficiency in financial reporting & financial processes, including financial systems, controls, and cost savings initiatives
- Completing ad hoc requests for Controller
- Other duties as assigned
This job might be for you if you demonstrate the following abilities and meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
- Minimum of 2 years’ financial analysis experience required
- Prior budget experience required
- Prior food and beverage industry accounting experience highly preferred
- Inventory management software knowledge highly preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, time management and communication skills
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to have full ownership of projects and work independently
- Advanced use of Microsoft Excel

- This position is located in beautiful new office at The Hub on Causeway with scenic views of the Zakim bridge. This full-time role is office-based and is NOT a remote opportunity
- Job functions require hours of sitting, typing, and use of a computer
- May be required to lift or move up to 30 lbs using proper lifting techniques and work in a fast-paced, high energy environment
- Non-typical office hours may be requested
