Job Summary:
Beyonder Camp - Cajun Moon is seeking a dedicated and thorough Housekeeper to be an integral part of our hospitality team. The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness within our motel rooms, restrooms, common areas, and other designated spaces. This role plays a crucial part in creating a positive and comfortable environment for our guests, contributing directly to their overall satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

Motel Room Cleaning: Thoroughly clean and prepare motel rooms for guest arrivals, including making beds with fresh linens, cleaning bathrooms (toilets, showers, sinks), dusting furniture, vacuuming or sweeping floors, emptying trash and recycling bins, and ensuring all amenities are stocked (towels, toiletries, etc.).

Restroom and Shower Facility Cleaning: Regularly clean and sanitize all campground restrooms and shower facilities, ensuring they are hygienic and well-maintained. This includes cleaning toilets, sinks, showers, mirrors, and floors, as well as restocking supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper).

Common Area Cleaning: Maintain the cleanliness and order of common areas such as the camp store, laundry facilities, recreational rooms, lobby area, and any other shared guest spaces. This may involve sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and wiping down surfaces.

Supply Management: Monitor and manage cleaning supplies and toiletries, informing the supervisor when inventory is low and ensuring adequate stock is available.

Maintenance Reporting: Identify and report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning (e.g., leaky faucets, broken fixtures, damaged furniture) to the appropriate supervisor in a timely manner.

Trash and Waste Removal: Collect and dispose of trash and recycling from motel rooms and common areas according to established procedures.

Adherence to Standards: Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a consistent and high level of cleanliness throughout the campground and motel.

Guest Interaction: Be polite and professional when interacting with guests, responding to any cleaning-related requests in a helpful and efficient manner.
- Laundry Duties: May be responsible for washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
Other Duties: Assist with other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to ensure the smooth operation of the campground and motel.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related cleaning role is preferred but not always required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
