About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic leader to serve as the General Manager for a well-regarded campground located in the scenic state of Iowa. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee all aspects of a thriving outdoor hospitality business and ensure exceptional experiences for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage all daily operations of the campground, including reservations, guest services, maintenance, housekeeping, and security.
• Develop and implement strategies to enhance guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of dedicated campground staff.
• Manage the campground's budget, control expenses, and maximize revenue.
• Ensure the campground and its facilities are well-maintained, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.
• Oversee marketing and sales efforts to achieve occupancy goals.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and present regular reports on campground performance to ownership.
• Proactively address and resolve any operational challenges or guest issues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (3 years) in a general management role within the camping, RV park, hospitality, or tourism industry.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Solid financial management and budgeting experience.
• Knowledge of property maintenance and safety procedures.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in relevant campground management software is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• A passion for the outdoors and the camping experience.
