Beyond TalentEdge has a direct hire opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative who maintains positive relationships with OEM customers, acting as the primary point of contact for day-to-day inquiries and activities. This individual owns the customer deliverable by coordinating actions across cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to multitask, meet aggressive deadlines, thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively, identify opportunities for improvement, and possesses strong interpersonal, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a drive to succeed.
Specific Duties
- Communicate customer expectations and coordinate team efforts to meet commercial requirements.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing timely support, information, and responses to inquiries.
- Prepare and provide customer quotations in collaboration with Sales and Product Management.
- Identify opportunities for revenue growth through pricing strategies and process improvements.
- Work closely with Order Processing to ensure timely and accurate customer demand recognition.
- Collaborate daily with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to meet customer requirements.
- Interpret and communicate contractual agreements related to customer requests and daily activities.
- Manage customer web portals and participate in weekly production meetings.
- Maintain knowledge of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Long-Term Agreements (LTAs).
- Coordinate service and replacement order processes.
- Monitor customer On-Time Delivery (OTD) and Defective Parts Per Million (DPPM) metrics and escalate concerns as needed.
- Stay informed on ongoing projects related to assigned customer accounts.
- Support the Sales Manager in developing new customer accounts.
- Review purchase orders for terms, conditions, pricing, and commercial requirements.
- Contribute to new business inquiries and prospective customer opportunities.
- Assist Accounts Receivable with collecting past-due invoices.
- Prepare reports and analyze customer account data.
- Focus on maximizing profitability while providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Previous experience in Inside Sales, Customer Service, or Account Management.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies and Infor/Syteline ERP is a plus.
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Understanding of supply chain operations and constraints.
- Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes and solve complex problems.
Salary:
$60,000 - $75,000
Hours: 8:00am- 5:00pm
