Beyond TalentEdge has a direct hire opportunity for a Business Development Professional - Commercial Cleaning. Our client is a leader in the Commercial Cleaning Services industry.
The Business Development Professional role will source, hunt and close new commercial cleaning contracts targeting 500K – multi-million-dollar opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Aggressively hunt and close new commercial cleaning contracts — targeting $500K–multi-million-dollar opportunities in healthcare, education, industrial, and corporate sectors.
- Build and execute a high-velocity sales pipeline using deep industry knowledge and relationships.
- Leverage technology as a competitive edge: expertly utilize CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) for pipeline management, quoting/proposal software for fast professional bids, and other sales tools to track, nurture, and close deals faster than the competition.
- Develop and maintain high-level relationships with facility managers, administrators, and procurement decision-makers.
- Collaborate directly with ownership on strategy, competitive pricing, and custom proposals.
- Attend and represent at industry events, association meetings, and targeted networking opportunities.
- Stay ahead of market shifts, competitor moves, and emerging client needs in the janitorial space
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of proven Business Development/Sales experience specifically in the janitorial or commercial cleaning industry.
- Demonstrated track record of consistently smashing sales targets and winning competitive bids.
- Strong existing network or intimate knowledge of buyers in medical, education, industrial, and B2B facilities.
- Tech-savvy sales professional: Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot strongly preferred), quoting/estimating software, proposal tools, and modern sales tech stacks. You must use data and systems to drive efficiency and results.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with a dominant, entrepreneurial mindset and high ownership.
Salary:
$90,000 - $100,000
