We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet with fresh food items, ensuring cleanliness and presentation standards are met.
- Assist guests with their breakfast needs, providing recommendations and answering any questions about menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations throughout the breakfast service.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction and positive guest relations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of food items and smooth service operations.
- Utilize POS systems for tracking orders and managing guest requests effectively.
Skills
- Experience in food service or hospitality is preferred, with familiarity in banquet settings being a plus.
- Proficient in using kitchen tools, including knives, and understanding of basic cooking techniques.
- Strong phone etiquette for handling guest inquiries or reservations when necessary.
- Knowledge of dietary restrictions and the ability to assist as a dietary aide when required.
- Excellent guest relations skills to foster a welcoming environment for all patrons.
- Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
