Job Summary
The Recruiter at Best Point plays a critical role in building a strong, mission-driven workforce to support our Early Childhood and School-Age programs. This position is responsible for developing and executing targeted recruitment strategies to attract, engage, and hire high-quality candidates for high-volume, frontline roles working with youth.
This recruiter will partner closely with program leaders to understand staffing needs, anticipate turnover trends, and create proactive pipelines. Success in this role requires the ability to move quickly, build relationships, and connect candidates to meaningful work that supports children and families across our community.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Early Childhood, or related field. (or related experience)
- 1–2 years of professional experience; high-volume recruiting or human services experience preferred
- Experience with HRIS systems (ADP strongly preferred)
- Strong interviewing, organization, and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with diverse candidates
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information
Key Responsibilities
High-Volume Recruitment & Talent Pipeline Development
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for Early Childhood and School-Age positions, including teachers, aides, and support staff
- Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract candidates in a competitive, high-turnover field
- Build and maintain active candidate pipelines to reduce time-to-fill and staffing gaps
- Partner with hiring managers to anticipate hiring needs and adjust recruitment strategies accordingly
Candidate Experience & Hiring Process
- Manage all stages of the hiring process: job postings, prescreening, interviews, offers, and onboarding
- Ensure a positive, responsive, and engaging candidate experience from first contact through hire
- Conduct efficient and effective prescreens to identify candidates aligned with program needs and culture
Partnership & Program Support
- Serve as the primary recruitment partner for Early Childhood and School-Age program leaders
- Provide guidance to hiring managers on hiring trends, candidate expectations, and recruitment best practices
- Support onboarding efforts to promote early engagement and retention
Community Outreach & Employer Branding
- Represent Best Point at job fairs, community events, and hiring initiatives focused on education and youth services
- Promote career opportunities and the organization’s mission to attract purpose-driven candidates
- Build relationships with local schools, workforce programs, and community partners
Compliance & HR Operations
- Ensure all hiring practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and employee records within HRIS
- Coordinate background checks, pre-employment screenings, and onboarding documentation
