Senior Interior Designer / Project Manager

Our client is seeking a Senior Designer / Project Manager to lead the execution of high-end residential design projects from concept through completion. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in luxury residential interiors, possesses strong project management capabilities, and can confidently interface with clients, vendors, and contractors. This role requires a self-sufficient designer who can manage complex project workflows, uphold exceptional design standards, and maintain seamless coordination across all phases of design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of design development and project management for high-end residential projects, ensuring exceptional quality and timely delivery.
• Take a project from initial concept to installation with minimal supervision, proactively managing schedules, budgets, and workstreams.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through the design process with professionalism and clarity.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and fabricators, maintaining detailed and organized communication.
• Oversee material selections, FF&E specifications, custom furniture development, and documentation.
• Review and produce technical drawings, construction documents, and presentation materials.
• Conduct site visits, manage install days, review shop drawings, and ensure field conditions align with design intent.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff when needed, modeling high standards of professionalism and problem solving.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, schedules, and procurement tracking systems to ensure accuracy and accountability.

Skills & Experience

• 6–8 years of professional experience in interior design with a strong portfolio of high-end residential work.
• Proven ability to independently lead projects from early concept through construction and installation.
• Strong client-facing skills with comfort navigating a luxury client landscape.
• Advanced technical proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, MS Office, Excel, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Highly organized with excellent communication skills, strong follow-through, and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, warm personality and the ability to build trust with clients and partners.

Benefits & Culture

• Salary range: $120,000–$150,000 (Dependent on experience).
