Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and their families in a warm and welcoming manner, answering questions and addressing concerns
- Verify patient information, prepare charts and medical records, and maintain accurate records
- Schedule appointments, exams, and procedures, and ensure timely and efficient patient flow
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the Imaging Department
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
- Per diem roles require previous experience in medical office experience.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and insurance billing procedures
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
