What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at Berg Enterprises, Inc?
We are currently seeking a Dispatcher to join our team at Berg’s Heating and Air Conditioning. Reporting directly to the Interim General Manager, the primary objective of this position is to manage the flow of information from our customers to our crews in the field and help direct service calls accordingly.
Responsibilities.
Answer and track incoming calls and assign to appropriate person/department
Filter non-appointment calls and transfer to appropriate person
Coordinate service/remodel technician arrival times with customers
Manage and update customer database with complete and accurate information
Oversee technician daily schedules and make updates as needed
Respond positively to calls from customers to understand their needs and effectively schedule work orders
Provide exceptional customer service to customers
Communicate clearly and efficiently with customers and technicians
Accept and enter payments from customers for outstanding account balances
Pass along any information from tickets to the Service Manager for ordering, quoting, etc.
Provide various support to all departments as needed

Bilingual (not required)
