We are seeking an Operations Manager who will take ownership of the firm’s internal operations and ensure that our systems, staff, and workflows function efficiently and at a high professional standard. This role requires leadership, accountability, and execution. You will be responsible for making sure the firm runs properly day-to-day so attorneys can focus on high-level legal work and client strategy. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all daily office operations, including front desk, scheduling, and workflow coordination Supervise administrative staff; set expectations, train, and enforce accountability and performance standards Manage client-facing processes to ensure a consistent, professional experience aligned with the firm’s standards Coordinate with attorneys to ensure matters progress efficiently and deadlines are met Manage vendor relationships (IT, software, office services) and ensure cost control and efficiency Handle HR functions including hiring, onboarding, personnel management, and compliance Maintain and improve internal systems (CRM, document management, scheduling, and communication workflows) Organize and oversee client meetings, signings, and firm events Ensure all files, records, and internal processes are organized, accurate, and handled with strict confidentiality Qualifications Prior experience in operations or office management in a professional services environment (law firm experience strongly preferred) Proven ability to manage staff and enforce structure in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts without loss of control Proficiency in financial tracking Experience with HR processes and employee management Strong communication skills with clients, staff, and vendors Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement practical solutions High level of accountability, attention to detail, and follow-through What This Role Requires This is a leadership role, not a clerical position.
