Term: 12-month contract with possible extensions based on performance
Shift: M-T 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview:
The Production Trainer is responsible for coordinating, implementing, and executing training systems within a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on developing and enhancing training programs, supporting manufacturing teams, and maintaining training system controls. The position also ensures ongoing system training for manufacturing training assistants and drives continuous improvement across training processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Training & Development
- Develop and implement training systems by identifying training needs, researching options, and recommending effective solutions.
- Coordinate and deliver recurring training for manufacturing training assistants.
- Identify training and certification gaps and recommend solutions to address them.
- Introduce and implement training system upgrades, including new technologies and methods.
Quality & Systems Improvement
- Maintain and enhance quality systems by identifying, isolating, and resolving process issues.
- Utilize customer feedback and automated systems to improve training and operational processes.
- Troubleshoot automated systems, implement fixes, or escalate issues to appropriate teams.
Project & Process Management
- Plan, organize, and manage complex projects with multiple priorities.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and milestones.
- Establish priorities and independently drive project execution from concept to completion.
- Solve complex problems requiring interpretation of procedures and innovative thinking.
- Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Support global initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Promote consistency across business processes beyond manufacturing.
- Provide innovative solutions to improve systems and workflows company-wide.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong understanding of business concepts, procedures, and practices
- Ability to analyze complex data and present findings clearly
- Experience working in a regulated quality system environment
- Proven ability to work independently on complex assignments
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills
- High level of initiative, creativity, and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or some college coursework
