Job Title: Manufacturing Technician 1

Location: St. Louis, MO
Employment Type: Full-Time, 2nd Shift (Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM)
Training: 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) for 2–3 months

Role Overview:

BEPC is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our client’s production team. This role supports manufacturing operations by performing product assembly, equipment setup, packaging, testing, and cleaning in a regulated environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in troubleshooting assembly and packaging equipment within a production or laboratory setting.

This is a hands-on position that plays a critical part in ensuring product quality, compliance, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain production and processing equipment, including COP (Clean Out of Place), CIP (Clean In Place), label lines, and torque systems.
• Set up and test packaging and labeling equipment to ensure functionality and readiness.
• Conduct torque testing, bottle preparation, and Class 100 clean room bottle pass-throughs.
• Clean and sanitize production rooms and parts following SOPs, including monthly phenolic cleaning.
• Execute production batch records accurately within SAP (Electronic Batch Record System).
• Maintain complete and compliant documentation for all equipment, production steps, and logbooks.
• Ensure all materials, parts, and equipment are properly labeled and stored.
• Follow safety protocols, wear required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Identify and communicate equipment or process issues to supervision promptly.
• Participate in required safety and quality training programs.

Qualifications:

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience and Skills:

• SAP experience required.
• Experience troubleshooting on assembly or packaging lines.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use lab or production testing equipment.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Forklift or pallet jack experience preferred.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and safety-focused.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and push up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and wear PPE, including respirators.
• Physical examination required.
• Must be clean-shaven and wear steel-toed shoes.

Other Requirements:

• Stable job history; candidates with long-term work experience preferred.
• Onsite interviews required.

Contract Details:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (2nd Shift)
• Training Period: 2–3 months on 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)
• Location: St. Louis, MO
