Production Assistant Supervisor - Weekend Warrior Day Shift

Summary

The Assistant Supervisor, Lisec Area role will help coordinate and oversee the growth and sharing of knowledge to the team members currently working within the Lisec lines both Velocity Plus and Standard line. This role will be point of contact for all aspects of safety, quality and production of the Lisec line. Also, this position will be point of contact to support trouble shooting from Lisec U.S.A and Lisec Austria.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Assistant Supervisor is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding safety, quality, production and employee relations performance objectives by communicating all relevant information/major issues to Department Leader/Supervisor/Plant Manager I/Plant Manager II and all supporting functional areas while simultaneously working to resolve the issue. The Assistant Supervisor chief responsibility is to ensure performance measured by metrics in his/her area is meeting or exceeding all defined goals and performing leader standard work. This work should be completed while adhering to and complying with company policy. The Assistant Supervisors are also responsible for developing, motivating, and teaching Department Leaders in order to prepare them for future leadership roles.

• Formal training from Lisec for operations of both the Velocity Plus and Standard glass lines.

• Expertise on how to create product transfer files and operate the lines to meet daily production demand.

• Specific understanding of the Velocity Plus line’s Cockpit software and how it provides communication throughout the system.

• Experience in first response troubleshooting of the lines, and the ability to thoroughly describe machine and/or raw material problems to respective departments.

• Ability to balance workflow between both glass lines to maximize department’s overall production.

• Basic understanding of cost drivers for the construction of a finished IGs.

• Collaborate leadership style valuing input from engineering, production floor team members and management, as well as outside resources.

• Proven ability to be an effective facilitator.
