Role Overview

BEPC is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Device Assembler to support the precision assembly of structural heart devices in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong fine motor skills who are comfortable performing highly detailed, hands-on work.In this role, you will perform precision sewing using a needle and suture while working under a microscope. Success requires excellent hand-eye coordination, patience, consistency, and the ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while performing repetitive, detail-focused tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble sewn structural heart devices according to approved manufacturing procedures and quality requirements.
• Perform highly precise sewing using a needle and suture under a microscope.
• Use small hand tools, calibrated instruments, measuring equipment, microscopes, and test fixtures.
• Inspect materials and components to ensure they meet applicable design specifications and quality standards.
• Follow established manufacturing procedures, documentation requirements, and cleanroom practices.
• Support activities associated with the design, testing, verification, and validation of new and existing products.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency while completing repetitive fine-motor assembly tasks.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and support continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant manufacturing, assembly, sewing, or similar detail-oriented experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Strong fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to perform extremely small, detailed, and precision-oriented work.
• Ability to sew using a needle and suture.
• Comfortable working under a microscope for extended periods.
• Ability to work effectively in a controlled cleanroom environment.
• Familiarity with small hand tools, measuring equipment, or precision assembly tools is preferred.
• Previous cleanroom, medical device, manufacturing, or microscope assembly experience is a plus.
