Position Overview:
We are seeking an IT Equipment Coordinator to support day-to-day IT hardware operations in a fast-paced enterprise environment. This temporary role is responsible for managing IT equipment inventory, assisting with hardware deployments and break/fix support, preparing devices for reuse or deprecation, and supporting facility-related IT setup projects.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, hands-on, and comfortable working with physical IT assets and logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory and asset tracking for compute devices and mobile development equipment
- Perform basic technical support triage, including hardware break/fix troubleshooting and warranty support
- Image operating systems for new deployments and securely wipe devices for recycling or donation
- Support facility-related IT projects, including desk setups and equipment teardown for new hires and terminations
- Clean, refurbish, and prepare hardware for redeployment
- Coordinate IT asset distribution, shipping, receiving, and tracking logistics
- Assist with Tech Ops projects and general IT equipment support activities
- Set up and collect equipment from employee desks as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Current CompTIA A Certification
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with IT asset management
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform physical tasks related to IT equipment handling and material movement
