Strategic Sourcing Manager

Pay Rate: $60 - $85/hour (Based on Experience)

Role Overview

BEPC Inc. is seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to support our customer within the aerospace industry. This high-impact role is responsible for managing executive-level supplier relationships, driving cost reduction initiatives, optimizing working capital, leading complex contract negotiations, and developing strategic sourcing plans that align with organizational objectives.

The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in supply chain management, sourcing, procurement, and supplier performance management while demonstrating strong leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain executive-level supplier relationships for high-spend suppliers.
• Drive direct material productivity and cost savings initiatives.
• Optimize working capital through payment terms, pay cycle improvements, and Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) strategies.
• Lead complex contract negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms.
• Implement dual-sourcing strategies to reduce supply chain risk and improve supplier performance.
• Identify and support High Growth Region (HGR) opportunities.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans aligned across multiple internal organizations.
• Foster executive-level Gold Business Enterprise (GBE) collaboration.
• Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and supplier performance evaluations.
• Promote Continuous Improvement (CI), Cost Management (CM), and Growth Management (GM) initiatives.
• Mentor and support team development through coaching and knowledge sharing.
• Monitor supplier and team performance metrics.
• Lead organizational and process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 9 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or related disciplines.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proven experience managing executive-level supplier relationships.
• Demonstrated success driving cost savings and productivity improvements.
• Experience negotiating complex supplier contracts.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Experience working within a global organization.
• Experience leading programs, projects, or cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
• Aerospace, manufacturing, or highly regulated industry experience is preferred.

Contract Details

• Contract Period: July 6, 2026 – January 1, 2027
• Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 or more days per week onsite)
• Locations: Phoenix, Tempe, Tucson, AZ, or other approved U.S. aerospace locations
• Candidates must reside and work within a supported geographic area.
• Weekly time reporting required through designated customer systems.
