Employment Type: W2 Contract, 6-month contract with possibility for extensions.

Pay Rate: $65.00 - $68.36 per hour (Paid weekly)

Role Overview

BEPC, Inc. is actively seeking a Sr. Advanced Mechanical Engineer to support product development initiatives for our client’s aerospace engineering division in Phoenix, AZ. This role plays a key part in designing, analyzing, and optimizing complex mechanical systems and components, including engine and APU hardware.

Candidates must have strong experience using NX CAD, Teamcenter, and ASME Y14.5 GD&T, and be able to contribute across the full lifecycle of conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop products and systems as part of an integrated aerospace engineering team.
• Perform CAD modeling and mechanical design using NX.
• Conduct engineering analyses, including weight optimization and manufacturability assessments.
• Participate in all phases of product development, from concept to validation.
• Generate complete and accurate technical drawings using ASME Y14.5 (GD&T).
• Review and check drawings generated by others for GD&T accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering groups to support technical solutions.
• Incorporate Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback into engineering solutions.
• Deliver presentations and clearly communicate complex engineering concepts.
• Support cost estimation, design for manufacturing (DFM), and materials selection.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 6 years of mechanical engineering and design experience using:

✔ NX CAD (required)

✔ Teamcenter (required)

• Proven experience in engine or APU design.
• Strong proficiency applying ASME Y14.5 GD&T—both creating and checking drawings.
