ewBEPC is seeking an experienced APU Controls Engineer to support the design, development, integration, and verification of Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) control systems for a next-generation aerospace program. This position will play a critical role in developing advanced control system architectures, model-based systems engineering (MBSE) frameworks, and integrated control solutions for safety-critical aerospace application
s.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in systems engineering, control systems development, requirements management, and aerospace integration activities. ies• Collaborate with engineering teams to develop control system components, including LRUs and electronic controllers, for a new APU development progr
am.• Execute, analyze, and document engineering trade studies to support design decisions and system optimizati
on.• Develop and implement Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering architectures utilizing industry-standard tools and methodologi
es.• Integrate control systems with Auxiliary Power Units and support system-level verification and validation activiti
es.• Develop, analyze, decompose, and validate system requirements throughout the product development lifecyc
le.• Design, implement, and evaluate control algorithms and embedded software solutions for APU applicatio
ns.• Support control system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and performance validati
on.• Ensure compliance with applicable aerospace standards, regulations, and safety requiremen
ts.• Provide technical guidance and support to engineering team members as need
