Schedule: 1st Shift | 40 Hours per Week | 8 Hours per Day
Travel: Up to 10% overnight travel as needed

Role Overview:
BEPC is seeking an experienced Laboratory Design Specialist to support the design and implementation of complex laboratory environments and automation solutions. This role is responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D laboratory designs, construction plans, renderings, and visualizations that support customer projects from concept through implementation.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Revit, BIM, CAD platforms, and laboratory design projects. This position works closely with architects, engineers, sales teams, customers, and business stakeholders to develop innovative laboratory layouts and technical solutions that meet customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transform Matterport digital twin data, BIM files, and point clouds into formats used throughout the laboratory design lifecycle
- Create detailed 2D and 3D concept designs, phasing plans, and construction drawings for laboratory and automation projects
- Develop advanced 3D models, renderings, and visualizations using industry-standard design software
- Produce technical layouts and construction documentation supporting implementation activities
Collaborate with:

- Provide accurate technical specifications, installation requirements, and dimensional information to project teams
- Support laboratory design development through multiple project phases from concept through deployment
Maintain knowledge of applicable:
- Building codes

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting project deadlines and turnaround requirements
- Support marketing and sales initiatives through high-quality visualizations and design presentations
- Ensure design accuracy and consistency throughout project execution
- Maintain CAD files, BIM models, and project documentation according to company standards
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Architecture
- Interior Design
- Related design discipline
Minimum 4 years of recent experience with:
- Revit
- BIM
- CAD-related software
- Strong experience creating:
- Construction drawings
- Technical layouts
- 3D visualizations
- Laboratory designs
Ability to read and interpret:
- Architectural drawings
- Mechanical drawings
- Technical specifications
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Work Environment:
This is a remote position supporting customers and project teams across multiple locations. Candidates must be comfortable collaborating virtually with cross-functional teams while managing multiple concurrent design projects. Occasional travel may be required to support project planning, customer meetings, and implementation activities.
