Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union is seeking an enthusiastic, open-minded Limited Term Physical Education Teacher with a growth mindset to join our team of dedicated teachers! The ideal candidate will be a strong, collaborative team member who is committed to continuing to work on their teaching practice through professional development both individually and as a team.
The Limited Term Physical Education Teacher will develop in each student an interest in and the ability to move with competence and confidence in a wide variety of physical activities in multiple environments that benefit the healthy development of the whole person. The Limited Term Physical Education Teacher will foster a passion for making healthy, active choices that are both beneficial to and respectful of a student’s whole self, others, and their environment. The Limited Term Physical Education Teacher must have strong knowledge and understanding of working, planning, and assessing in a proficiency-based system.
This position is a 1.0 FTE split between Currier Memorial School (0.50 FTE) and Sunderland Elementary School (0.50 FTE). This position will travel between locations.
The anticipated dates of employment are 5/15/26 to 6/5/26, following the school calendar and are subject to change.

Annual Salary Range:
- $45,500 to $85,800, based on education level and years of experience; prorated in accordance with FTE.
