Limited Term Special Educator

Bennington-Rutland Supervisory Union seeks a dedicated and experienced Limited Term Special Educator to join our team for the 2025/2026 school year! This professional plays a vital role in ensuring students with disabilities receive high-quality, individualized instruction, and support within an inclusive school setting. The Special Educator will provide direct and consultative IEP services, serve as case manager for assigned students, and conduct comprehensive special education evaluations for students in Grades K-8 at Flood Brook School.Working closely with classroom teachers, interventionists, and related service providers, the Special Educator will design and deliver well-aligned, personalized instructional programming for students with disabilities. The role requires the ability to conduct assessments, analyze student data, adjust instruction based on progress monitoring, and ensure access to grade-appropriate curriculum through differentiated instruction and appropriate accommodations or modifications.The ideal candidate brings a strong background in special education program development and demonstrates expertise in evidence-based instructional practices, trauma-informed practices, and inclusive service delivery models. Strong candidates will exhibit a student-centered approach, exceptional oral and written communication skills, and the ability to build and sustain meaningful relationships with students and families. • $45,500 to $85,800, based on education level and years of experience; prorated in accordance with FTE
