Poultney High School is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Long-Term Substitute Physical Education & Health Teacher for the remainder of the 2025–2026 school year. The anticipated start date is March 30, 2026. This position serves both middle and high school students and plays an important role in promoting fitness, wellness, and healthy decision-making across our 7–12 community.
Preferred Qualifications:
Vermont teaching license in Physical Education and/or Health
Experience working with adolescents in educational or athletic settings
Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills
Ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and welcoming school climate
