Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and resourceful IT Support Specialist to support our growing organization’s technology needs. This role will focus on managing our Microsoft Office Suite, strengthening and maintaining cybersecurity, and providing troubleshooting support to end users as needed. The ideal candidate is proactive, willing to learn, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where both strategic thinking and hands-on problem solving are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and implement cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems.
- Manage, configure, and provide support for Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Support company network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and VPN connections.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for employees (hardware, software, and connectivity issues).
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers as needed to ensure smooth IT operations.
- Document IT processes, system configurations, and troubleshooting guides for internal use.
- Stay current on industry best practices, security threats, and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Experience with cybersecurity tools, protocols, and best practices
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite administration and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with network administration, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
