Summary
DAS Services is seeking an experienced Property Specialist to support a goverment customer at Picatinny Arsenal NJ.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of responsibilities in support of Program Office property management. Perform those responsibilities in a manner that maintains positive and constructive relations with associated parties.
- Responsible for the maintenance of records and issuance of required reports concerning government and customer-owned property from its receipt at the company to its final disposition after contract completion or termination.
- Maintain auditable records of government-owned property located at the facility and associated vendor/subcontractor facilities. Ensure that the records include authority to have the property and an audit trail of receipt, inspection, cost, classification, periodic inventory, maintenance, and final disposition.
- Reviews vendor/subcontractors control of government property in coordination with the Purchasing and Subcontracts Departments.
- Administers property control program activities to ensure accountability of property. Prepares and maintains property accountability records. Conducts property inventories. Provides guidance on policy and/or regulations pertaining to property accountability.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- PIEE experience is a must have
- 3 years experience or 7 years of related experience in lieu of degree
- Experience with contract personnel property management
- Analytical and computer skills required
- Excellent interpersonal skills as well as written and verbal communications
- A combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of this position
