A well-established commercial general contractor in the Dallas–Fort Worth market is seeking a Preconstruction Director to lead and elevate its preconstruction function.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and develop the preconstruction and estimating function
- Drive budgeting, pricing strategy, and proposal development
- Partner with leadership on project selection and pursuit strategy
- Oversee JOC estimating operations and unit pricing consistency
- Guide projects from early concept through final pricing and turnover
- Build relationships with municipalities, school districts, and public entities
- Implement process improvements and technology (Sage, Procore, Bluebeam, AI tools)
What They’re Looking For
- 10 years in commercial construction (non-residential required)
- Experience with ground-up and interior reno projects
- Proven leadership experience
- Strong understanding of DFW/Texas construction market dynamics
- Experience in public sector/government projects preferred
- Proficiency in Sage, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools
