Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations of the cash application and credit/collections team
- Oversee customer accounts, payment activity, and credit evaluations
- Partner cross-functionally to resolve billing and payment issues
- Monitor and improve processes around cash handling and reconciliations
- Support month-end close, reporting, and audit readiness
- Develop and refine credit policies and procedures
- Provide updates and insights to internal stakeholders and leadership
- Mentor and manage team performance and development
- Identify and implement process improvements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field
- 8 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit, or collections
- 4 years of experience leading or supervising a team
- Strong understanding of credit practices and collections strategies
- Advanced Excel skills (data analysis and reporting)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

- Experience in a high-volume or multi-location environment
- Background in process improvement initiatives
- Experience managing large customer portfolios
