Host/Hostess

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and attentive Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for delivering top-notch hospitality.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, promptly seating them at their designated tables
- Manage the front of the house, including coordinating reservations, takeout orders, and ensuring timely seating
- Provide exceptional guest services, responding to inquiries and addressing any concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Utilize POS systems to efficiently process orders and maintain accurate records
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette, answering calls promptly and handling inquiries and reservations
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, adhering to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide assistance to other team members as needed
- Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through friendly and attentive service

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Excellent guest relations skills
- Willingness to help with any tasks or duties as needed
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent required
