Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food to the highest standards, ensuring all dishes are presented in an appetizing and appealing manner
- Work effectively within a fast-paced kitchen environment, maintaining a positive attitude and a focus on customer satisfaction
- Assist with inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring guests feel welcome and valued
- Collaborate with the restaurant management team to ensure seamless service and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant
- Demonstrate knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Line Cook in a busy restaurant or kitchen environment
- Strong culinary skills and knowledge of food production and preparation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a positive attitude and a focus on customer satisfaction
- Experience with inventory management and ordering supplies
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Experience with menu planning and kitchen management is an asset
