Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Host/Hostess at one of the restaurants within the Benjamin Restaurant Group in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Host/Hostess will be responsible for warmly greeting guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring an organized flow of dining service. The role also includes offering excellent customer service, maintaining a professional demeanor, and assisting with guest inquiries to create a welcoming and memorable dining experience.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Experience in Food & Beverage operations, with knowledge of dining room etiquette and procedures
- Ability to assist with guest onboarding and Training initiatives when required
- Basic Sales skills to promote the establishment's offerings and specials
- Organizational skills and attention to detail in managing reservations and seating
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with the New York City restaurant scene is a plus
