Help Believe in Me build responsible partnerships with social-service organizations supporting underserved youth, young people, and families.
We are seeking a volunteer Social-Service Partnership Liaison to research providers, conduct approved outreach, coordinate collaboration, and maintain accurate resource and referral-process information.
Responsibilities
- Research qualified organizations addressing food, housing, benefits, family support, employment, legal aid, transportation, disability, and other needs
- Identify appropriate partnership and program contacts
- Conduct approved introductions and discovery conversations
- Document services, populations, costs, eligibility language, geography, accessibility, capacity, and verification dates
- Coordinate onboarding, resource sharing, workshops, referral-process clarification, and follow-up
- Maintain accurate relationship and directory records
- Route participant-specific, crisis, eligibility, legal, and privacy questions to authorized professionals
- Avoid case management, eligibility decisions, provider endorsement, or guaranteed referrals
- Experience in social services, case coordination, nonprofit partnerships, public benefits, community outreach, family support, or human services
- Strong research, professional communication, discretion, and documentation
- Understanding of privacy, mandated-reporting, crisis, legal, and referral boundaries
- Ability to verify public information without representing Believe in Me as a service provider
- Relevant credentials are welcome but do not expand role authorization
