We’re hiring an experienced General Manager to lead food nutrition operations at a 900-bed hospital in Washington, DC. What You’ll Do- Lead and manage day-to-day food nutrition operations
- Develop strategic plans and meet financial goals
- Build strong partnerships with nursing and clinical teams
- Oversee patient meal service, retail, and catering operations
- Drive team engagement and compliance with DC regulations
- Ensure high standards of safety, quality, and satisfaction
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- 5 years of leadership in healthcare food service
- Experience managing patient dining, retail, and catering
- Proven ability to build nursing/clinical partnerships
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (DC a plus)
- Excellent communication and team leadership skills
Experience in large-scale healthcare settings
Staff development and training experience
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation best practices
