Position Summary:
Responsible for ensuring BHR’s administrative office and the Justice and Crisis Response Unit program runs properly and smoothly. Manages staff and administrative tasks, including managing or maintaining a program budget. Their duties include undertaking a variety of administrative and programmatic tasks including coordinating outreach duties to engage with community partners. The Program Coordinator will assist in planning and organizing programs and activities as well as carry out vital operational duties for the Justice and Crisis Response Unit department.

The Program Coordinator will assist in planning and organizing programs and activities as well as carry out vital operational duties for the Justice and Crisis Response Unit department.
Essential Functions:
- Schedule program work, oversee daily operations, coordinate the activities of the program, and set priorities for managing the program.
- Manage marketing and outreach to the community.
- Assist in maintaining JCRU budget and track expenditures/transactions
- Help build positive relations within the team and external parties.
- Prepare paperwork and order JCRU materials (i.e., uniforms, CRU swag, brochures, etc.).
- Support growth and program development amongst team members.
- Provide administrative and scheduling trainings to JCRU staff and external partners.
- Organize and monitor calendars, including scheduling of appointments, meetings, and maintain agenda; retain electronic and hard copy filing system.
- Coordinate and make appropriate arrangements for meetings, conferences, and trainings (both in the office and off-site) to include preparing and coordinating lunches, meeting materials, presentations, and audio/visual materials.
- Responsible for supporting BHR’s administrative office.
- Work in a multi-disciplinary team setting with focus on teamwork and positive communication between departments and team members.
- Travel to and from various locations to meet the needs of the program and/or BHR’s administrative office.
- Attend offsite duties alongside community partners
- Communicate and interact effectively with visitors/vendors and BHR staff, as required.
- Maintain appropriate confidentiality in handling highly sensitive information.
- Perform various other duties and functions as required or assigned within area of expertise or scope of the position.
Education, Experience and Skills Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant field preferred.
- Two (2) years of Program Coordinator or relevant position experience.
- Knowledge of program management and development procedures.
- Knowledge of budging, bookkeeping, and reporting.
- Ability to work with diversity and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent time-management.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, work with confidential documents, and have strong organizational skills.
- Strong typing, MS Excel, MS Word, Flow charting and MS PowerPoint skills. Proficient in MS.
- Reliable transportation is a must.
