BeeHive Homes of Edgewood is looking for a compassionate and highly dependable Weekend Caregiver to join our assisted living team.
This position has a consistent, easy-to-plan schedule:
Saturday & Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
You'll work two 12-hour daytime shifts each weekend while helping our residents enjoy safe, comfortable, and meaningful days in the small, homelike environment that makes BeeHive Homes different.

- Approximately 24 hours per week
- Starting pay: $15.00 per hour
- Consistent weekend schedule
- In-person position in Edgewood, NM
What You'll Do
As a Weekend Caregiver, you'll be involved in the rhythms of our residents' entire day—from morning routines and meals to activities, companionship, and evening care.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal care
- Help residents with mobility and safe transfers
- Assist with meals, hydration, and daily routines
- Provide companionship and meaningful interaction
- Encourage participation in activities and social engagement
- Monitor resident well-being and promptly report concerns
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment
- Complete required care documentation
- Communicate clearly with fellow caregivers and leadership
- Help residents maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Reliable transportation
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Ability to complete required orientation and training
- Ability to perform the physical responsibilities of caregiving, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and assisting residents
- Must be reliably available Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
