What are the responsibilities and job description for the House Manager position at Beehive Homes Assisted Living?
Being a Beehive Manager, you will responsible for creating and maintaining a home for elderly. We take care of people all the way through end of life care. It is the managers responsibility to ensure that their team follows the beehive culture and provides excellent care for our residents. This is a full-time position and requires a flexible schedule with on-call requirements. However, a good leader will develop a team they can depend on and work well with.
The Ideal Candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to maintain effective relationships with the residents, families, and staff. They will be required to create schedules, manage budgets, maintain hours worked, and following state protocol for assisted living. Promoting a positive environment is a must and our mission is to create an atmosphere of compassion and love.
Beehive Homes assisted living and memory care is a small and home-like setting with 15 private rooms all with 3/4 bathrooms, home-cooked meals, and multiple activities throughout the day. We hire cooks, activities and caregivers regularly and we encourage people from within the company to move up.
- Assist the residents with all Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) while maintaining the resident's dignity, privacy, and confidentiality which includes but are not limited to
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Transferring
- Toileting
- Continence Care
- Eating
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Medication management
- Prepare light meals and snacks
- Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
- Complete yearly training
- Basic computer skills
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards our residents, visitors, families, and staff.
