**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a qualified and experienced instructor to teach Noncredit - Addiction and Substance Abuse courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a commitment to helping students achieve their educational goals.
**Responsibilities:**
- Teach Noncredit - Addiction and Substance Abuse courses to adult learners
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and success
- Provide individualized support and guidance to students
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelors degree in health science, health education, biology, nursing, dietetics, or nutrition; or an associate degree in any of those subjects, and four years of professional experience related to the subject of the course taught OR Masters degree in counseling, psychology or sociology OR Bachelor's degree and two years of occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught OR Associate degree and six years of professional experience related to the subject of the course taught OR Bachelor's or Associates in Addiction Paraprofessional Training
- Experience teaching content related to addiction and substance abuse
- Ability to teach onsite at Pitchess Detention Center and/or Century Regional Detention Facility Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:00am and 4:00pm
