Noncredit Instructor

Canyons School District is seeking a highly qualified Noncredit Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will teach and develop courses in the discipline of Noncredit Surveying (Short-Term Vocational).

Responsibilities:

• Teach and develop courses in Noncredit Surveying (Short-Term Vocational) at various campus locations.
• Create a dynamic learning environment that values instructor/student interaction.
• Effectively engage with and facilitate authentic learning for students of diverse backgrounds, cultures, and experiences.
• Adapt teaching pedagogy to the knowledge of each individual and class.
• Demonstrate experience and commitment to integrating new technologies into the learning process.

Qualifications:

• Possession of an unexpired California Community College Instructor Credential in the discipline.
• OR - Any bachelor's degree and two (2) years of occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught.
• OR - Any associate degree and six (6) years of occupational experience related to the subject of the course taught.
• OR - Possession of a full-time, clear California Designated Subjects Adult Education Teaching Credential authorizing instruction in the subject matter.
