What are the responsibilities and job description for the College Counseling Instructor position at Canyons School District?
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking adjunct faculty members in Counseling. The teaching assignment may be at the Valencia or Canyon Country campus, or other college teaching locations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Create a dynamic learning environment that values instructor/student interaction.
- Adapt teaching pedagogy to the knowledge of each individual and class.
- Communicate effectively orally and in writing.
**Requirements:
- Unexpired California Community College Instructor Credential in Counseling, OR Master's degree in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, career development, marriage and family therapy, or marriage, family and child counseling, OR Bachelor's degree in one of the above listed degrees and a license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT).
- Ability to teach Monday through Friday (day and evening), as well as Saturday classes.
- $30 per hour.
