This is an on-call position as needed for a spill technician to assist in oil spill clean-up and response. The role provides general land-based oil spill response labor or equipment operations support.
The spill technician may be called upon to participate in spill response drills and exercises, take pictures of the spill, and work with the project manager to determine the type of response needed.
The position requires the ability to learn oil spill response tactics for the Arctic environment, execute instructions, and remain flexible in a dynamic work environment.
Responsibilities:

- Inventory spill conexes monthly and provide reports
Salary: $25/hour for training and $30/hour for spill response
