As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Pump Operator to join our team.
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Concrete Pump Operator to operate and maintain our concrete pumping equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating various types of concrete pumps, a thorough understanding of safety protocols, and excellent communication skills. As a Concrete Pump Operator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful execution of our concrete projects.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate your designated concrete boom pump.
- Set up and assemble the concrete pump equipment at job sites.
- Position and maneuver the concrete pump to ensure accurate and precise concrete placement.
- Monitor and control the flow and consistency of the concrete during pumping operations.
- Collaborate with project managers, concrete foremen, and other team members to ensure smooth workflow and project success.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspection of the concrete pumping equipment, identifying and reporting any issues or malfunctions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others on the job site.
- Complete daily logs and documentation related to pump operations, including concrete volume, pumping duration, and any incidents or concerns.
- Assist with other tasks on the job site as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Concrete Pump Operator.
- Proficient in operating various types of concrete boom pumps.
- Strong understanding of concrete pumping techniques, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and the ability to adhere to strict safety protocols.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and adapt to changing project demands.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy equipment and materials as required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Relevant certifications in concrete pumping operations (e.g., American Concrete Pumping Association certification) are preferred.
Bilingual (speaking English & Spanish) is a bonus.
