You will work directly with the Controller to ensure that all general ledger related accounting responsibilities are completed in a timely and efficient manner. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and other balance sheet accounts
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and record depreciation
- Process and track accruals, prepaids, and intercompany transactions
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Support audits by providing documentation and answering auditor inquiries
- Help improve accounting procedures and internal controls
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
