Role Overview: You will provide operational oversight and leadership for our six distinct on-site eateries, ensuring high standards of service, guest satisfaction, and financial performance.
Key Outlets Under Your Supervision:
- Sea Level Restaurant: Managing high-volume, full-service breakfast operations.
- Splash Oceanfront Pool Bar & Grill: Overseeing poolside dining and seasonal live entertainment.
- Oceans 6 Bar & Lounge: Leading an upscale, adult-only venue on the 6th floor.
- Coral Bean Café: Coordinating our on-site Starbucks® coffee shop and quick-service café.
- Entertainment Zone Snack Bar: Managing food and beverage services within our 8-lane bowling alley and arcade.
- Catering Banquets and Special Events/Event Execution: Oversee the setup, service, and breakdown of corporate meetings, wedding receptions, and social galas in our 3,000 sq. ft. of event space.
- BEO Management: Masterfully interpret Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to ensure culinary and service teams are perfectly synchronized for events ranging from 20 to 100 guests.
- Catering Logistics: Manage off-menu requests and buffet logistics, ensuring high-quality food presentation and temperature control across multiple floors.
- Audio/Visual Support: Coordinate basic A/V needs for business meetings and social events to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Core Responsibilities:
- Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor a diverse team across multiple outlets to ensure consistent guest service.
- Daily Operations: Maintain a strong floor presence during peak meal periods and seasonal events.
- Compliance: Enforce strict SCDOA and OSHA health and safety standards and ServSafe Alcohol policies.
- Financial Oversight: Assist the Director in managing departmental budgets, payroll, and inventory records.
- Guest Experience: Proactively resolve guest concerns and use feedback to enhance food quality and service.
Candidate Qualifications:
- Experience: 4-6 years in food and beverage leadership, preferably in a multi-outlet resort or high-volume hotel.
- Education: 2-year or 4-year degree in Hospitality or Business Administration preferred. Not required.
- Skills: Proficiency in POS systems and Microsoft Office; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Availability: Must be flexible and willing to work various shifts, holidays, weekends, and special events.
