What are the responsibilities and job description for the Food and Beverage Cashier position at Ripley Entertainment Inc?
Ripley Entertainment is on the lookout for talent to add to our team.
We are hiring Cashiers and Kitchen Runners with an energetic personality for our Food & Beverage Department
We specialize in entertaining families, and we want you to be part of the fun!
Must be at least 18 years of age. You will be working at one of 3 food service locations throughout Ripley's Aquarium of Myrtle Beach.
Your job duties include (but because we all chip in, are not limited to):
- Perform cash handling and customer transaction processing.
- Perform duties as requested by Leadership.
- Maintain work areas as well as the surrounding areas, which include the dining room, in a clean
- and sanitary manner within company and health department standards.
- Make sure that counter displays are well stocked and maintain them in that fashion throughout the entire shift
- Assist any area within the food department to ensure guest satisfaction.
- May assist in performing a monthly inventory.
- Assist fellow employees whenever needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to manipulate and work with kitchen equipment including stoves, ovens, sinks, dishwashers and various cooking implements without impediment.
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ experience in restaurant hosting or cashiering, preferably in an Attractions/Amusement
- setting.
- Proven cash handling responsibilities.
- Friendly, courteous and well-mannered.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Language: Fluent in English
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and have no issue working in a fast paced environment
- Please be punctual
- Must be well groomed
Applicants should have availability to work any shift, including mid shifts and evening shifts.
