Duties

• Lead personal injury litigation matters from inception through trial or settlement

• Serve as first chair trial counsel in plaintiff-side injury cases

• Develop and execute litigation and courtroom strategies

• Conduct depositions, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and trials

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and legal memoranda

• Negotiate settlements with insurance carriers and opposing counsel

• Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings

• Manage multiple active litigation matters simultaneously

• Collaborate with legal staff and attorneys to ensure effective case management

• Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case developments and litigation strategy

Requirements

• 5 years of plaintiff-side or civil litigation experience preferred

• Proven first chair trial experience in personal injury litigation

• Strong courtroom advocacy and negotiation skills

• Experience handling complex injury claims and litigation matters

• Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent client communication and relationship management skills

• Massachusetts Bar required
